Double joy at Balmoral for our
SUMMER FESTIVAL on Saturday, 21 June (starting at 5 pm)

During our summer festival, we will be awarding a coveted art prize with the help of our friends from the Förderverein Balmoral 03 e.V. and on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral (now Artist Residency Schloss Balmoral)! Fellows from the past 30 years have submitted their portfolios over the past few weeks and our high-calibre jury has finally made its decision: Join in the excitement to see who will be awarded the prize money and an exhibition will open soon in Mainz (from 16 July 2025 in the gallery rooms of Apollo / Kunsthochschule Mainz). This exhibition will also be on show in Bad Ems in 2026.

Further joy: We will celebrate – also on Saturday, 21 June – our new fellows from all over the world who have arrived at the castle and in beautiful Bad Ems. A warm welcome! We cordially invite all those interested in art and in the castle to join us. There will be music and delicacies, art and energy! There will also be a short presentation of the fellows and their artistic work.

The Artist Residency Schloss Balmoral is looking forward to a glittering party. Come and be our guests! Let yourself be enchanted and disturbed, because anything is possible in and with art.
