We cordially invite you to this year’s last exhibition at RichCake (Römerstraße 27, Bad Ems) and a glamorous evening concert at Schloss Balmoral (Villenpromenade 11, Bad Ems).
Lyrical and full of soft nuances, painted with pigments from the immediate surroundings of Balmoral Castle and the charred wood remains of the Haus der Vier Türme in Bad Ems: at 4 pm we open Josephine Adu’s solo show, in which the
Neustart fellowship holder will present her large-format watercolours from the time of her residency at Balmoral. Title of the show: Essence (of Ems).
At 8.30 pm, we invite you to the last concert of the year at the Artist Residency Schloss Balmoral: The Occasional Trio from Berlin/Budapest will celebrate with us under the annual end-of-year motto: Gratitude is a must! The Berlin jazz trio brings its inimitable style to the stage of Balmoral. Led by Simon-Mary Vincent on piano (awarded the Innovation in Business Prize: Most Innovative Piano Music Composer UK 2023 and Innovation & Excellence Corporate Livewire Prize 2024) and with the sublime show-stopping talent of Roland Fidezius and Kay Lübke, The Occasional Trio will revisit favourite and new compositions, exploring music by Max Roach, Mongo Santamaria and many more.
