RichCake

Balmoral has a project space in the city center of Bad Ems called RichCake: The works of the fellowship holders are regularly exhibited there. The former store with its large window fronts serves as a showcase for art and arouses curiosity about the aesthetic positions and artistic statements. The exhibition space also provides an insight into the work of the artist residency in general.

At times when RichCake is not showing works by the artists in residence, the space is open for collaborations with (guest) artists, students and partners. We are convinced: Less vacancy in urban space protects us against intellectual vacancy.
