Christian Diaz Orejarena

Christian Diaz Orejarena uses artistic means to conduct research on topics such as global inequality, postcolonialism and the ecological crisis. His works (comics, video art, performances) combine fiction, speculation and documentary material and have been shown at venues including the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein and the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. Together with the rampe:aktion working group, he develops unconventional educational formats to encourage others to understand art as a language of autonomy and coexistence. A solo exhibition of his work will be on display at Kunsthalle Osnabrück until November 2025.
