YeonSook Lee

Born in 1976 in Paju, South Korea. In 1999, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in sculpture at Hong Ik University, followed by a Master of Arts in 2002. In 2008, YeonSook Lee obtained a Master of Arts in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Her work encompasses spatial installations and multimedia. In her art, she explores everyday experiences, memories of place, shifts in perception and individual memory. The artist also leads workshops in which she explores the relationship between collective memory and individual experiences.
